We've updated our booking confirmation and reminder emails to prevent time zone confusion. Now, all course times are clearly labeled with "GMT (UK Time)." For example, a course starting at 12:00 will show as "12:00 GMT (UK Time)" in your email, ensuring clarity across all time zones.

We are excited to announce the release of Calendar Embeds! You can now easily embed a calendar of your upcoming events and courses directly into your website with Cademy. You can see an example here. We are excited to announce the release of Calendar Sync! You can now easily integrate your Google or Outlook Calendar with Cademy. This allows you to offer booking options based on your real-time availability, as well as sync your scheduled course dates into your calendar for simpler admin.

Take Bookings Based On Your Calendar Availability

When you set up a new listing, you can now set the service to accept bookings based on your calendar availability. This is ideal for coaching, private tuition, 1-to-1 training, consulting, and so much more! When customers book, they will only be able to see and select dates & times available in your calendar. Sync Your Scheduled Events

For courses and events scheduled in advance, you can use the calendar sync to see all dates from Cademy directly in your calendar. For pre-scheduled events, we will even show the number of spaces booked and the remaining spaces left on each calendar occurrence. Learn more.

Now, reviews without a matching course attendance record for the specific provider will be marked as "unverified." This helps distinguish between feedback from verified students and others, ensuring credibility and trust in our review system. Verified badges will continue to highlight authentic student experiences.

We've fixed a bug in the media gallery! If you uploaded a file with a really long name without spaces, it made the media selector look odd, and you couldn't access the options menu (…). Now, no matter how long the file name is, the UI will display correctly, and you'll always see the options menu.

We've resolved an issue where descriptions for course add-ons weren't displayed during the checkout process. Now, when you book a course and reach the "Spaces" step, you'll see all relevant add-on descriptions, ensuring you have all the information needed to make informed decisions about your course enhancements.

We've made our Media Picker better for those with lots of media files. Now, it's easier and faster to find and manage your files thanks to new updates:

• New Paging Feature: Makes it quicker to browse through files.

• Sorting Options: Sort media files by date created, date updated, or name.

• Type Filters: Quickly find files by their type.

Now, you can link multiple Zoom accounts to your Cademy account, perfect for courses run by different course owners. Additionally, setting up Zoom for your courses is easier. Once you link your Zoom account and assign it to a course, the system automatically generates Zoom links and meetings for all upcoming occurrences. This update simplifies course management, ensuring a seamless experience for both course providers and customers.

Now you can easily stop invoice reminders for overdue payments. Just go to Settings > Payments > Invoice Options and switch off the reminders.

For customers using the embedded booking system, we've added a banner at the top of the checkout flow. This banner allows you to easily return to the educator's website at any point, making your experience smoother and more integrated with the educator's platform.

Now you can easily set and display the duration of your on-demand courses directly in the "Description" tab. Choose from minutes to weeks - making it clearer for your students.

SCORM is a standardised format to host and share engaging courses. You can use popular course building platforms to create extremely interactive and dynamic courses, and host them on Cademy completely for free. You can now add an additional reminder email 7 days before the course/event takes place. This allows you to give your attendees a nudge or reminder a few days in advance to their booking taking place.

Creators can now add detailed descriptions to their course collections to provide more context for their courses.

Now, you can easily convert waitlist entries into bookings and benefit from automated waitlist updates.

On January 8th, we will update our embedded booking system to redirect customers to a separate browser tab when completing their purchase.

We have made several improvements around contact email management in the system:

1. Booking updates: You can now easily change the contact or guest on a booking by clicking on their email. A pop-up dialog will appear, allowing you to create or select a different contact to be replaced instead.

2. Contact email updating: You can also update contact emails more smoothly than before. Previously, if a contact had logged into their account, we restricted your ability to edit their email for security reasons. Now, it just works!

3. Duplicate merging: When you update a contact's email, if the new email is associated with an existing contact, you will get a prompt to merge the duplicate contacts.

Klarna makes it easier for your customers to "buy now pay later" or spread their purchase cost over multiple instalments. Providing payment flexibility is an excellent method to expand your customer base and enhance conversion rates. Learn more.

For our enterprise customers, we are excited to announce that Single Sign On (SSO) is now generally available on all our enterprise plans - making your employees access to Cademy more streamlined and secure.

Users can now effortlessly log in as customers or administrators, thanks to our newly introduced social login feature. Bid farewell to login obstacles, forgotten passwords, email typos, and login-related frustrations.

You can now control which payment methods are available for individual courses. If you wish to enable Klarna or Invoices only for certain courses - now you can! You will find the option when editing a course, under the Settings tab, in the Advanced Settings section.

You can now create quizzes on your on-demand and blended courses. Simply edit an on-demand or blended course, and in the lesson editor, you will now see a "Quiz" block. Add a quiz to your lesson to assess your student's knowledge right within the Cademy course.

You can hide your profile and courses from the Cademy marketplace by going into your Admin Dashboard, in the Profile page.

Making our profile private will also make sure that all your courses are unpublished from the Cademy marketplace. If your profile is private, any courses you publish, will only be published on your minisite and booking system (i.e. they will not be published on the marketplace).

You can add tags & categories to your educator profile on Cademy. Simply go into the Profile section in the admin dashboard, and find the "Search Details" area.

You can now add a general enquiries email and phone number on your account. The phone number will be shown on your profile page and the email will soon be used as the default recipient on all new enquiries coming from your profile page.

Improve the discoverability of your course in the Cademy marketplace with Tags & Categories. In the "Description" tab of any course, you will now see dropdowns to select a Primary Category, Additional Categories and Tags. There are over 2,000 categories and 5,000 system tags to pick from. You can also create and assign your own custom tags. Property categorising and tagging your course is the most important thing you can do to increase your visibility in the Cademy marketplace.

Adding a location to a course or date is now easier than ever. Instead of typing up the location on every single course, we will now save your addresses into a "Locations" library. When creating new courses or dates, you'll now simply have to pick a location from your library instead of typing it up from scratch.

We have announced a new pricing policy for all sales via the Cademy marketplace, effective from March 15th 2023 forward. The new pricing will allow us to expand our marketing campaigns and drive more customers to the courses listed on our marketplace.

The admin inbox in Cademy is now sorting conversations by "most recent message". This means that as new messages come into older conversations they will bubble up to the very top of the list, making them much easier to find and respond to.

You can now add a course to memberships from the Settings tab of any course. Simply edit any of your courses, click on the "Settings" tab and you will see a new section for "Memberships".
