You can now quickly find contacts by their phone number in the Admin app. Just type the number into the search bar in the 'Contacts' section, and you're good to go!

1️⃣ More Visibility for Course Providers:
If a potential student searches for a course topic that isn't currently available on our Marketplace, we'll now suggest a list of course providers (like you!) who offer similar categories. This means more eyes on your courses and a chance for potential students to contact you directly. 💌

2️⃣ Search by Course Provider:
Customers can now search specifically for course providers in their area or field of interest. This makes it easier for them to find exactly what—or who—they're looking for. 🎯

3️⃣ Enhanced Filtering and Sorting:
We've fine-tuned the filtering and sorting options to make the search experience smoother and more intuitive. 🛠️

How Does It Work? 🛠️

The new Educator Search works similarly to our existing Course Search. When a potential student can't find a course they're interested in, we'll automatically suggest a list of course providers with similar categories linked to their profiles. This list will appear right on the Cademy Marketplace, giving you more opportunities to be discovered. 🌐

What Does This Mean for You? 🎯

• Increased Exposure: Your profile will be more visible, even if you don't offer the exact course a student is searching for.

• Direct Enquiries: Potential students can contact you directly, offering a chance for more personalised interactions. 💌

When students search for courses in specific cities, we've now added a feature that will also display online courses in a dedicated section called "Online Options". This means that even if a student is looking for courses in Edinburgh, for example, they'll also see your online courses as an alternative. This opens up a whole new avenue for your courses to be discovered and booked! 🌍

1. Increased Visibility: Your online courses will now appear in more search results, increasing the chances of enrolment.

2. Convenience for Students: This feature makes it easier for students to consider online courses as a viable option, especially if they can't find what they're looking for in their local area.

3. More Opportunities: With your courses appearing in both location-specific and online searches, you're essentially doubling your exposure on our platform.

We've been listening to your feedback and are thrilled to announce some nifty updates to our Marketplace search results, specifically for on-request courses. 🛠️

What's New? 🆕

1️⃣ Improved Visibility for On-Request Courses

Your on-request courses will now appear more prominently in search results when students filter for "delivery -> in-person" and by city. 🏙️

2️⃣ Multiple City Support

If your course is available in more than one city, it will appear in searches for any of those cities. Even better, the course card will display the city closest to the student's search query. For instance, if your course is available in both London and Birmingham, and someone searches for courses in Birmingham, the course card will show Birmingham as the location. 🗺️

3️⃣ UK-Wide & International Courses

If your course can be delivered UK-wide or internationally, it will appear when students filter for "delivery -> in-person" and by any city. These courses will have a label of "In-person, UK wide" on the course card. 🌍

4️⃣ Online Courses

Online on-request courses will now appear when students filter for "delivery ->online". 💻

5️⃣ Improved Sorting by Price

We've fine-tuned the sorting mechanism to ensure that on-request courses are sorted accurately by price, including those with a 'Prices on Enquiry' starting price property. 💷

Good news! We've simplified the Delivery Filters on our Marketplace Search to make it easier for students to find your courses. 🎉

• In-Person Filter: Now shows set-date, hybrid, and on-request courses at locations. 🏫

This should make course discovery more straightforward and help more students find you. 🌟

We understand the effort it takes to create an on-demand course, and we don't want you to repeat the process on Cademy if it's already hosted elsewhere. That's why we've introduced the option to mark your course as "hosted externally."

Now, instead of recreating your course on Cademy, you can effortlessly advertise it on our marketplace and provide bespoke instructions to your customers about how and when they can access the course post-purchase.

✨ Discovering the perfect course just got easier with the addition of location filtering and an adjustable radius option in our Marketplace. Users can now narrow down their search by selecting a specific location and defining a search radius to find the most suitable courses nearby.

We've enhanced the appearance of Cademy links when shared on platforms that generate link previews, such as social media. Now, when you share search results from Cademy, a more visually appealing and representative preview will be generated, making it easier for users to understand the content they're about to view.

Keep an eye out for Olly on our platform, guiding you through your adventures with a hoot and a smile. Let's make education even more enjoyable together with Olly! 🦉😄

You can now create quizzes on your on-demand and blended courses. Simply edit an on-demand or blended course, and in the lesson editor, you will now see a "Quiz" block. Add a quiz to your lesson to assess your student's knowledge right within the Cademy course.

You can hide your profile and courses from the Cademy marketplace by going into your Admin Dashboard, in the Profile page.

Making our profile private will also make sure that all your courses are unpublished from the Cademy marketplace. If your profile is private, any courses you publish, will only be published on your minisite and booking system (i.e. they will not be published on the marketplace).

You can add tags & categories to your educator profile on Cademy. Simply go into the Profile section in the admin dashboard, and find the "Search Details" area.

You can now add a general enquiries email and phone number on your account. The phone number will be shown on your profile page and the email will soon be used as the default recipient on all new enquiries coming from your profile page.

Improve the discoverability of your course in the Cademy marketplace with Tags & Categories. In the "Description" tab of any course, you will now see dropdowns to select a Primary Category, Additional Categories and Tags. There are over 2,000 categories and 5,000 system tags to pick from. You can also create and assign your own custom tags. Property categorising and tagging your course is the most important thing you can do to increase your visibility in the Cademy marketplace.

Adding a location to a course or date is now easier than ever. Instead of typing up the location on every single course, we will now save your addresses into a "Locations" library. When creating new courses or dates, you'll now simply have to pick a location from your library instead of typing it up from scratch.

We have announced a new pricing policy for all sales via the Cademy marketplace, effective from March 15th 2023 forward. The new pricing will allow us to expand our marketing campaigns and drive more customers to the courses listed on our marketplace.

The admin inbox in Cademy is now sorting conversations by "most recent message". This means that as new messages come into older conversations they will bubble up to the very top of the list, making them much easier to find and respond to.

You can now add a course to memberships from the Settings tab of any course. Simply edit any of your courses, click on the "Settings" tab and you will see a new section for "Memberships".
